Join us for a presentation by Master Gardener Intern, Jan Albanese, on sharing insights into Claude Monet’s approach to gardening and design.

Join us on the first Tuesday of the month for our Master Gardener series, presented by U of M Extension Becker County Master Gardeners. Master Gardeners are University of Minnesota-trained volunteers whose mission is to educate the public about a variety of horticulture subjects using readily-available, up-to-date research-based information. The Master Gardener Program educational effort is designed to enhance the public’s quality of life and to promote good stewardship of the environment.

 

August's presentation will focus on sharing insights into Claude Monet’s approach to gardening and design. Practical lessons from the famous painter that you too can implement in your landscaping  Presenter: Jan Albanese

 

This program is offered as part of Garden Talks, an event series offering assistance with common gardening topics.

The Detroit Lakes Public Library is located in downtown Detroit Lakes at the intersection of Washinton Ave. and Frazee Street. The library offers two meeting rooms, four study rooms, a legal kiosk, free Wi-Fi and much more.
