The library will host an in-person screening of the Creative Writing Sampler Virtual Class taught by the Loft Literary Center.

Join Lake Agassiz Regional Library and the public libraries in the Traverse des Sioux Regional Library System for a series of virtual writing workshops hosted by teachers from the Loft Literary Center.

Join us in-person for a screening of the workshop, or, the virtual workshop can be accessed at larl.org/writingworkshops. They are offered free-of-charge and no registration is required. Treats of some sort will be provided. This program is made possible in part thanks to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.

Creative Writing Sampler
Tuesday, October 25 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. 
Not sure if you’re a poet, a novelist, or a memoirist? Join teacher Gail Milstein to sample poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction. We’ll explore craft techniques common to all three and experiment with each type through creative writing exercises.

About the branch

The Fertile Public Library is tucked inside the Duane Knutson Community Center on Mill Street across the street from the Main Street Station & Deli. The Fertile Library is a large one-room library with access to a small meeting room and auditorium that can be reserved through the city office and 24-hour access to WiFi.
