Witness a profoundly important date in history come to life with a presentation by Minnesotan historian and educator Arn Kind held in honor of the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Witness a profoundly important date in history come to life with a presentation by Minnesotan historian and educator Arn Kind held in honor of the 80th anniversary of D-Day, the date when the Allied nations launched Operation Overlord, the surprise invasion of France.

In this living history performance, Kind will bring history alive with a realistic portrayal of the invasion, which was accomplished by thousands of intrepid young American, British and Canadian soldiers parachuting out of the sky behind enemy lines and wading through heavy surf onto the beaches of Normandy.

Admission is free thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Legacy fund and is offered by Lake Agassiz Regional Library.
