Join your library to celebrate Upcycling Day and reuse plastic bags by weaving them into a mat or rug!
June 24 is Upcycling Day! Celebrate at the library by repurposing plastic bags into a mat or rug.
Mara DeRung, Recycling Outreach Educator with the Solid Waste Resource Recovery Center in Moorhead, will lead this beginner-friendly program. Each participant is welcome to bring their own stash of plastic grocery bags to supplement what we will have on hand. Get ready to weave your way to a new mat or rug during this free event!
Projects not finished during class may be completed at home. All are welcome and this program is offered free-of-charge. Registration is not required.
