Join us during Welcoming Week to read this month's book, What We Hunger For: Refugee and Immigrant Stories about Food and Family edited by Sun Yung Shin. This book contains fourteen stories about food written by refugees and immigrants who moved to Minnesota. Welcoming Week is an opportunity to celebrate the values that unite us as neighbors, parents, and colleagues, and to make our communities more welcoming to all those who call Minnesota home. All are welcome, even if you haven't read the book. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at detroit@larl.org.
