Try out a new hobby at your library! Join Shauntae Reese and learn about the hobby of Fused Glass Art. Registration is required.

Have you every wanted to try a new hobby, but didn't know where to start? This class is the first in the 2025 Monthly Hobby Series at the Detroit Lakes Public Library.  Join Shauntae Reese as she teaches you what you need to know to create Fused Glass Art. Materials and step by step instruction will be provided. Attendees will learn how to design a glass snowflake and your masterpiece will be fired by the instructor. The Detroit Lakes Public Library is located in downtown Detroit Lakes at the intersection of Washinton Ave. and Frazee Street. The library offers two meeting rooms, four study rooms, a legal kiosk, free Wi-Fi and much more.
