The opioid overdose response training covers how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose and administer Narcan. All participants will be offered free Narcan at the end of the training.
Annabel is the Opioid Program Manager for Clay County Public Health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education from the University of North Dakota. She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and has worked in various areas of public health including environmental health, violence prevention, tobacco prevention and control, and now substance use prevention. Her current role focuses on combatting the opioid epidemic in Clay County using prevention and harm reduction strategies. In her spare time, Annabel loves to read, cook, and curl up with her dog, Walter.
