Join us for themed conversations on a variety of topics to practice your multilingual skills! The third Wednesday of the month will be dedicated to practicing Portuguese language proficiency.

Join us on Wednesday evenings for "The Language Exchange", in which facilitator Monique Ammi will help participants hone their conversational skills in a variety of languages. Language-learners of all proficiencies are welcome!

First Wednesday: French

Second Wednesday: Italian

Third Wednesday: Portuguese

Fourth Wednesday: Spanish

Monique Ammi has been fascinated by languages for as long as she can remember. Even before her first foreign language class, she planned to be a polyglot. Nowadays when asked how many languages she speaks, her answer is usually, “As many as possible!” She aims to reach advanced proficiency in all the languages she studies. She has been hosting virtual Spanish and Italian conversation events for two years and has been a member of the previously in-person, now hybrid, Minneapolis-St. Paul Portuguese group since 2018. She is eager to meet some fellow language-learning enthusiasts in person!  
On Wednesday evenings at Moorhead Public Library, she will host themed conversations on a variety of subjects — join us for one or more of them!
