Join us to gain some some guidance on effective personal journaling, from MSUM professor and author Kevin Zepper.
One of the main characters in The River We Remember often references a journal she kept in a different phase of her life; not only does this help her reflect on her past, but the loss and subsequent discovery of it creates a pivotal moment for her in the book.
Join us to learn some tips and tricks for effective journaling from local author and Minnesota State University Moorhead professor, Kevin Zepper. He has taught workshops to a wide range of ages on everything from poetry to memoir writing. In addition to teaching, Zepper is the author of six books of poetry. When he is not teaching or writing, Zepper is an active semi-professional photographer and film and TV actor.
This program is offered as part of this year's One Book, One Community program series, which features events hosted by libraries in Moorhead, Fargo and West Fargo around the selected title, The River We Remember by William Kent Krueger.
