Swoop into the library to scoop up a free kit to create your own sun print! Use the sun's light, found objects and water for this low mess art project.
Stop by the Fertile Public Library to pick up a free take and make craft kit. Create your own sun print using the provided materials in addition to a piece of cardboard or a magazine, objects from around your house or leaves which can be pressed flat.
Bonus! You get to keep the plexiglass for your own projects. Use it with washable markers & paper to make prints or use permanent markers to make yourself a suncatcher. You can also spread paint on it and use cotton buds to create designs—then wipe it off to paint another painting.
Request some more solar system books to complete your summer reading! Visit https://larl.org/explore to get all the details about this summer's kid's program.
Don't forget you can enter this in next year's Polk County Fair. It's free and you might win a ribbon & some money.
