In 1897 and 1947, locals spotted unidentified flying objects in our skies. Was it aliens? Mad scientists? Military secrets? Pop culture mass hysteria? Join us to find out!

In 1897 an airship was spotted over Barnesville, and in 1947, a flying saucer dogfight took place in the skies above Fargo. Markus Krueger of the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County will share the history behind these incidents and will explore the many possibilities in this presentation. This program is offered free-of-charge and is open to everyone.
