Join us on the third Tuesday of each month to discuss popular, classic, and favorite books with our librarians. All are welcome to drop-in and share their reading experience!
Help your librarians tackle their reading lists by discussing popular, classic, and personal favorite books--and then check them off your own reading list too! The genres and themes will vary; we've got something for everyone! Our October pick is "Institute" by Stephen King.
Luke Ellis, a young boy from Minneapolis, finds himself kidnapped and his parents murdered. He is taken away to the mysterious "Institute" where children with superpowers are kept. Children who cooperate are rewarded, children who don't... are punished. And those who are there long enough disappear, never to be seen again. Luke must work together with other kidnapped kids to escape the Institute and find out what happened to the others. But will they make it?
If you're a fan of "Firestarter" or "Stranger Things" then join the discussion, and check a book off your reading list!
