Join the Climax Library at the Climax Community Center to enjoy world-class symphonic music. This performance featuring Jane Linde Capistran and Dr. Laura Kellogg.
The Climax Public Library will host a musical event following the Climax Community Club's meeting on April 10. The program will be offered free-of-charge and will feature musicians Jane Linde Capistran and Dr. Laura Kellogg. All are welcome.
About the Performers:
Jane Linde Capistran retired as Assistant Professor of Music at Concordia College in 2019. A frequent performer of chamber music, she performs in the Lyra Trio, the Dakota Rose String Quartet, and is concertmaster of the NDSU Baroque Festival Orchestra. She serves as Assistant Conductor and Principal 2nd violin of the Fargo Moorhead Symphony and is is in her 20th and final year of conducting the FM Youth Symphony.
Dr. Laura Kellogg teaches applied flute, woodwind methods, flute choir and chamber music at North Dakota State University and also teaches at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Laura is the Executive Director of the Fargo Moorhead Area Youth Symphonies, and the Director of the NDSU Music Academy, a non-degree organization that provides high quality music education to students from age 4 through adult.

The Climax Public Library is situated adjacent to the Climax CIty Hall at 104 West Broadway. The library boasts a generous garden and green space and is housed in a historic building that offers plentiful meeting space for groups and organizations.
