Join us to discuss the "Last Bus to Wisdom," a cross country coming of age story set in the early 1950. All are welcoming including those who haven't read the book.

The Resolute Readers Book Club meets the third Wednesday of the month at 5:30 pm. Join us in December to discuss "The Last Bus to Wisdom by Ivan Doig.

When the Montana grandmother who is raising him is unable to care for him one summer, Donal Cameron is sent to his great-aunt in Wisconsin and is quickly sent back to Montana. His great-uncle has had enough and decides to tag along. This coming of age story tells of Donal and his great uncle's adventures as they traveled across the country.

About the branch

The Fertile Public Library is tucked inside the Duane Knutson Community Center on Mill Street across the street from the Main Street Station & Deli. The Fertile Library is a large one-room library with access to a small meeting room and auditorium that can be reserved through the city office and 24-hour access to WiFi.
