Join local author Dawn Marie Duncan as she reads her new book, Seraphina the Ballerina and answers questions. Then you get to be the author as you create your own mini book.

Seraphina the Ballerina is a story about a kind and beautiful young snake. She has big dreams of becoming a dancer. But how? Join Seraphina and her friends as she dreams BIG. Will she be on stage under the spotlight, twirling for all to see? Will she really become a ballerina? Anything can happen when you use your imagination and believe.

Join local author Dawn Marie Duncan as she reads her new book, Seraphina the Ballerina and answers questions. Then you get to be the author as you create your own mini book. Copies will be available for sale and a book signing after the reading. 

Dawn Marie Duncan is a DL-based author (native of Fertile, MN and a UND graduate). This is her first published children's book, and she has also authored adult fiction and nonfiction. Dawn coaches other authors, and is a facilitator in writing and art classes. Seraphina the Ballerina was published May 2022 by Yellowbright Press and illustrated by DL artist, Anna Lassonde, of Jollybird Studio.
