Bring a blanket to sit on and enjoy the fresh air and summer sun with an outdoor storytime on the library's lawn. Activities will be moved inside of the library if unpleasant weather.
Each week, we explore different themes with stories, songs, rhymes, flannel boards, special guests and more! Storytime typically lasts for 45 minutes and is geared for children ages 3-6, although children of all ages are welcome to join the fun. During the summer months the Detroit Lakes Library will host Thursday Storytimes outside on the library's lawn to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine! Storytime will be moved inside if there is unpleasant weather.
