This month's book is "Sunrise on the Reaping" by Suzanne Collins. Everyone, of all ages, is welcome for this month's book club discussion, even if you haven't read the book!

This month's book is Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins - set 24 years before The Hunger Games, focusing on the 50th Hunger Games (the Second Quarter Quell) and the backstory of a young Haymitch Abernathy. The story explores themes of propaganda, control, and rebellion as Haymitch, then 16, is reaped and forced to fight in an arena with twice the usual number of tributes, setting the stage for his future role as a mentor. Get caught up before the movie comes out in theaters on November 20th!


All teens are welcome, including those who haven't read the book!
