Ditch the plastic wrappers and get back to the basics! Join local elder and former teacher Marge Fabre to taste-test delicious homemade snacks and learn how to grow or make your own treats at home.

Join Marge Fabre to learn all about snack crops and the lost art of homemade snacks. Marge will show us that the best treats are often the ones we grow ourselves and make from scratch. This is your opportunity to learn the basics of creating these treats and home and even taste-test a variety of wholesome and delicious snacks provided by Marge.

About the branch

The Mahnomen library is located at 203 S Main St in the same building as the City Hall. The stone building was constructed in 1937 by the WPA and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The library offers public computers, in-house use laptops, free WiFi, and all the other amenities of a Lake Agassiz Regional Library Branch.
