Discuss best sellers with the Moorhead Public Library! This month we'll meet to discuss our One Book, One Community pick, "The Birth of Loud" by Ian S. Port.

Join the Moorhead Public Library's Best Sellers Book Club and see what the buzz is about in popular books! In September, the group will discuss this year's One Book, One Community pick, "The Birth of Loud: Leo Fender, Les Paul, and the Guitar-Pioneering Rivalry That Shaped Rock 'n' Roll" by Ian S. Port.

This engaging history tells the story of the rivalry that shaped rock n' roll--the battle between Leo Fender and Les Paul for rock stars to use their respective electric guitars. Masterfully characterizing each player and setting the scene of vibrant mid-century America, this is an engrossing read for music lovers and history buffs everywhere.
