The Empower Crookston Partners and the Crookston Public Library invite you to join us at this family-friendly event designed to connect residents with local energy experts with a free meal provided.

Join us on Thursday, April 23rd at the Crookston Public Library. For a community-focused event, hosted by the Empower Crookston Partners and in cooperation of the Crookston Public Library, designed to connect Crookston residents with local energy experts and contractors who can help you make your home more efficient, comfortable, and climate‑resilient.

This event will feature:

  • Local contractors and energy specialists sharing practical tips, resources, and opportunities for home weatherization and reducing energy costs.
  • Hands‑on activities for all ages, including the Library Learning Lab, a Storytime and additional kids’ programming hosted by the Crookston Public Library.
  • A presentation and community engagement session on the developing Crookston Climate Action Plan, offering residents a chance to learn more and share input.


Guest will be offered a free meal, within a welcoming, educational, and fun atmosphere for the whole family!

Come explore ways to strengthen your home, save on energy expenses, and help shape a more resilient future for the Crookston community.

About the branch

The Crookston Public Library is located at 110 N. Ash St. next to the old Carnegie Library. The Crookston Library offers study carrels, a private meeting room, and the beautiful River Room for your individual use or group meeting needs.
