Teens! Join us at the library to design and assemble your very own micro mosaic pendant.
The Art of Micromosaics: Step into the world of miniature masterpieces in this captivating class. Using tiny pieces of glass and stone called tesserae, you’ll learn how to design and assemble your own intricate work of art. With guidance on color selection, layout, and technique, you’ll discover how these small fragments come together to form detailed images with painterly beauty. Whether you choose to create a floral motif, a geometric design, or a personal keepsake, this class will give you hands-on experience with one of the most mesmerizing art forms of the 18th and 19th centuries.
