Join your library for a free workshop to create your very own 1'x1' Barn Quilt with Mary Jo!
Unleash your inner artist and celebrate a beautiful tradition that defines Minnesota's rural landscape! Join us for a hands-on workshop and paint your very own 1'x1' Barn Quilt under the expert guidance of Mary Jo Schmid from Crooked Lane Farm Folk School.
As a retired Moorhead educator, Mary Jo brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to help you learn about this iconic folk art. Whether you are a seasoned crafter or a complete beginner, you’ll leave with a unique masterpiece ready to display.
All materials are provided. Registration is required. Regirstration will open at 3:30 p.m. on March 17 for events held in April, on April 28 for events held in May and on May 12 for events in June.
