Join us at the Heritage House to discuss “Gunflint Burning” by Cary J. Griffith
Join the Halstad book club at 11:30 am on January 20th to discuss Gunflint Burning by Cary J. Griffith. We will meet at the Heritage House, 133 4th Ave E, Halstad, MN.
Love for the Boundary Waters, the threat of flames, and the heroism of first responders is exhibited in Cary J. Grant’s new book, Gunflint Burning, which tells the true story of the wildfire at Ham Lake. Sparked by a bonfire which burned 75,000 acres of forest and over a hundred structures, Grant gives readers the sensation of being in the thick of the flames which engulfed Gunflint Trail.
Borrow the book from our catalog here. All are welcome to come and share their reading experience.
