Thinking about gifting homemade jams or jellies this holiday season? Join us for an interactive event with Clay County Extension to learn more about preserving delicious treats for friends and family. This workshop will address how to safely preserve foods through canning, freezing and drying, using tested recipes and methods. There will also be a quick and easy freezer jam demonstration for you to sample and try at home. There will be handouts, recipes and tips for easy homemade treats! Jillian Patrie, Horticulture Educator from University of MN Extension in Clay County, will lead the workshop.
