Join the Hendrum book club at 3pm on September 22nd to discuss “The Hazelbourne Ladies Motorcycle and Flying Club” by Helen Simonson. We will meet at the Hendrum Library LINK site, 308 Main Street E.
Constance Haverhill is a young English woman left jobless and drifting after the soldiers return to the UK from WWI in 1919. She visits Hazelbourne-on-Sea, where she is swept into the local ladies’ motorcycle club. This historical fiction will transport you to early 20th century high society and the dreams of Constance and her friends.
All are welcome to come and share their reading experience.
The Hendrum Library LINK Site is located in the Hendrum Professional Center on Main Street, across the street from the Post Office. The LINK Site offers access to a public computer and free WiFi as well as books, movies and other materials for check-out.
