Join the Ada Public Library for a very special Storytime event featuring debut children's book authors Amy L. Aanenson and Winston Ekstrand.

During the event the authors will share their books with our community, talk about their journey to becoming published authors and lead children in a special craft activity. This program is offered free-of-charge and is open to all ages.

Meet the Authors

Winston Ekstrand is a high school student from the Twin Cities. He is an avid reader and writer who enjoys writing poetry, participating in speech and debate competitions and community service projects. A Place for Me is his first published work, created in collaboration with his neighbor and mentor, Amy L. Aanenson, who also illustrated the book.

Amy L. Aanenson was raised in Ada, MN and currently calls the Twin Cities home. Amy is a retired speech-language pathologist and a lifelong educator with a passion for creative writing. She is currently working on her Heart Series book collection, which features original life lessons and her watercolor paintings. My Wish for You is her debut picture book.
