Minnesotans are invited to gather at participating libraries across the state to show support for libraries and the vital role they play in our communities, creating a statewide show of appreciation.

Join the statewide Great North Star Read Together, and show your appreciation and love of public libraries!

You are invited to gather for a read-in event at the Crookston Public Library on Saturday September 20th at 11am, to show support for all Minnesota libraries and the vital role they play in our communities. 

Activities Include:

  • Presentation highlighting the library services and resources you may not be aware of
  • Open Mic Session inviting library supporters to share why they love their library
  • Refreshments will be provided

he Great North Star Read Together is a collaborative effort of library supporters from the Minnesota Library Association, CRPLSA, the Multicounty Multitype Library Systems, Minitex, MELSA, and ITEM. Find participating libraries here.

The Crookston Public Library is located at 110 N. Ash St. next to the old Carnegie Library. The Crookston Library offers study carrels, a private meeting room, and the beautiful River Room for your individual use or group meeting needs.
