Join the Reading by the Red Club for engaging conversation over tea and cookies in the River Room at the Crookston Public Library. This month we're discussing "The Song Poet" by Kao Kalia Yang.

Minnesota author Kao Kalia Yang tells the story of her father Bee Yang, a Hmong refugee in Minnesota. Bee had to flee Laos because of war, and through many difficulties, he sings.

All adults are welcome, and no registration is required.

Stop by the library to pick up a copy from our book club kit, or find The Song Poet in our catalog.

The Crookston Public Library is located at 110 N. Ash St. next to the old Carnegie Library. The Crookston Library offers study carrels, a private meeting room, and the beautiful River Room for your individual use or group meeting needs.
