Join the Friends of the Moorhead Library for a National Library Week celebration including a flash tattoo fundraiser and beer launch party at Swing Barrel Brewing!

Join the Moorhead Public Library and the Friends of the Moorhead Library for a fundraiser celebrating National Library Week.  

This event will include:

  • Beer Launch Party:  Enjoy a special brew celebrating libraries and National Library Week:  Swing Barrel’s new Card Cata-Lager.  This brew is a Vienna Lager with smooth maltiness and light toffee, bready and nutty notes.  It has a mild bitterness that pairs well with the bready notes.  The finish is fairly dry and crisp.  Not into beer?  Celebrate your library with a variety of nonalcoholic beverages available at Swing Barrel.  
  • A Flash Tattoo fundraiser with Zoltar Tattoo
    * 40% of the proceeds from each tattoo will go to the library!  
  • Food will be available from Duck Duck Goose Food Truck 
  • A mini-book sale hosted by The Friends of the Moorhead Library
  • Sign up for a library card and get book recommendations from library staff
  • Free hot cocoa courtesy of the Friends of the Moorhead Library
  • Music by the Pat Lenertz and Friends band from 7:00-9:00

And much more!  

This is an all ages event and admission is free but additional costs for drinks, food, tattoos and more may be incurred.
