Join us for a family-friendly literacy-based show featuring puppetry, poetry, songs, stories and audience participation.

Families are invited to join us at St. Michael's School, 501 1st Street SW, for a performance of "Imagination Theater" a family-friendly show featuring puppetry, poetry, songs, stories, and audience participation. The program features Michael Paul Gallo, a retired Minnesota State University Moorhead professor of Early Education and Literacy who has been entertaining audiences for over 40 years!

Admission is free, thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund. The program is appropriate for all ages but is geared for youth ages 3-10.

About the branch

The Mahnomen library is located at 203 S Main St in the same building as the City Hall. The stone building was constructed in 1937 by the WPA and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The library offers public computers, in-house use laptops, free WiFi, and all the other amenities of a Lake Agassiz Regional Library Branch.
