Join us for an engaging, interactive, and inclusive Storytime experience. Our library offers a welcoming, accessible space where children of all abilities can enjoy the magic of storytelling. 

Story Time includes lively read-alouds, sing-alongs, and opportunities for creative expression, tailored to meet diverse needs. Come together with other families for a joyful, inclusive experience that fosters a love of reading, language development, and social connection. This program is for ages 3-6, but all are welcome to join this fun, supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Each session will be themed. 


January 28 - Being Me

February 25 - Bedtime

March 25 - Helping

April 29 - Gardening

May 27 - Dancing

The Detroit Lakes Public Library is located in downtown Detroit Lakes at the intersection of Washinton Ave. and Frazee Street. The library offers two meeting rooms, four study rooms, a legal kiosk, free Wi-Fi and much more.
