Join us at Drafts Sports Bar and Grill to discuss a banned book of your choice. The Books and Brews Book Club meets the fourth Tuesday of every other month to discuss what they've been reading.
Since 1982, the American Library Association has set aside a week each year that "brings together the entire books community in shared support of the freedom to read." In honor of Banned Books Week, for our October Books and Brews meeting you are invited to read any book that has been banned and then share your selection with the group at our meeting at Drafts Sports Bar and Grill.
The Books and Brews Book Club meets the fourth Tuesday of every other month to discuss what they've been reading and to enjoy beverages. Appetizers are provided by the Friends of the Library; participants are responsible for the cost of their own food and drinks. All adults are welcome and no registration is required.
The Crookston Public Library is located at 110 N. Ash St. next to the old Carnegie Library. The Crookston Library offers study carrels, a private meeting room, and the beautiful River Room for your individual use or group meeting needs.
