Join your library for a presentation featuring renowned Minnesota cookbook author Beth Dooley and celebrated Minnesota farmer and advocate Noreen Thomas on the impact of food on the community.

Join your library for a presentation featuring renowned Minnesota cookbook author Beth Dooley, appearing alongside celebrated Minnesota farmer and advocate Noreen Thomas. Dooley and Thomas will discuss the impact of food on the community, including the role played by the availability of locally grown food, the use of practices that regenerate soil and the impacts on health, environment, economy and more.

Beth Dooley’s latest books, Appetite for Change: Soulful Recipes from a North Minneapolis Kitchen and Minnesota’s Bounty: The Farmers Market Cookbook will be featured as well as Noreen Thomas’ experience growing in the local food revolution.

Admission is free thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Legacy Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
