Try out a new hobby at your library! Join librarian Eliza and learn about the relaxing hobby of rock painting. Registration is required.

Have you every wanted to try a new hobby, but didn't know where to start? This class is the eighth in the 2024 Monthly Hobby Series at the Detroit Lakes Public Library.  Come join Eliza Gores as she teaches you what you need to know to start the hobby of rock painting. Step by step instruction will be provided. You will get to practice and take home your masterpiece. The class is free of charge, but registration is required. The Detroit Lakes Public Library is located in downtown Detroit Lakes at the intersection of Washinton Ave. and Frazee Street. The library offers two meeting rooms, four study rooms, a legal kiosk, free Wi-Fi and much more.
