Explore your own backyard! People come from all around the world to make Minnesota their home. Play an interactive group game that compares the immigration stories of six real people who moved to MN.

Explore your own backyard! People come from all around the world to make Minnesota their home. Markus Krueger of the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County will lead kids in an interactive group game that compares the immigration stories of six real people who moved to northwest Minnesota over the last 150 years. Why did people move here from Norway, Kurdistan, and Mexico? Who took a sailboat and who took an airplane?

Get the answers and explore stories a little closer to home with this fun game!

This program is made possible thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Legacy Fund.
