Join us on the third Thursday of the month to discuss classic books. All are welcome to drop-in and share their reading experience! In June we will begin with Chapters 1-34 of "The Three Musketeers".
Join the Moorhead Public Library's Classics Book Club to discuss different literary classics. The genres will vary and we'll read something for everyone! Our June pick is "The Three Musketeers" by Alexandre Dumas. We'll discuss chapters 1 - 34 during our June meeting and finish discussing the book in July.
The Three Musketeers features D'Artagnan's journey to become a Musketeer. The book begins with three duels against Athos, Porthos, and Aramis. They're quickly interrupted by the Cardinal's men. As d'Artagnan's reputation grows, he becomes embroiled in a plot against the queen. It somehow involves his lovely neighbor, a man with a scar on his face, and a mysterious person known as "Milady."
The discussion is open to everyone, including those who haven't read the book and those who have seen the movies, the TV show, listened to the audiobook, or read the graphic novel. Don't miss a discussion of this adventure!
