Join us on the third Thursday of each month to discuss different classic books. All are welcome to drop in and share their reading experience!
Join us at the library to discuss different literary classics. The genres will vary; we've got something for everyone! Our April pick is The Phantom of the Opera by Gaston Leroux.
The story follows Christine Daaé who lives in the Opera House, and begins to hear a voice that teaches her how to sing. When her childhood friend, Raoul, comes to visit, the "Opera Ghost" voice becomes violent and jealous until Christine disappears.
Those familiar with the musical will discover a darker gothic story. If you're only familiar with the musical, or have read the book before, we welcome you to come and discuss this fascinating story!
LARL has the title available online from Libby or in print.
