Celebrate spooky season with the Barnesville Public Library's first eventer Literary and Film Character Pumpkin Decorating Contest! First, choose your favorite book or movie character and decorate a pumpkin or gourd (real or fake) without carving it, using any materials that you desire.

Bring your entry to the library between October 19-21; community members are invited to visit the library and vote on their favorites from October 24-27. There will be different age categories and prizes will be awarded on October 28. If you wish to keep your entry, please pick it up before October 31. Any entry left after October 31 will be disposed of.
