Kids will learn about using a loop to record sounds and how to add layers to music you are playing. This program is offered free-of-charge thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
About Gaelynn Lea
Gaelynn is a disability advocate who speaks about her experience with brittle bone disease and her journey learning to play the violin like a cello. Since winning NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest in 2016, she has captivated audiences around the world with her haunting original songs and traditional fiddle tunes. She most recently composed and performed the music for Macbeth on Broadway, which was nominated for three Tony Awards, including one for Best Sound Design.
