Lights Out at the Library
Flashlight Read Aloud

Encourage your child's reading skills by bringing them to Lights Out at the Library. Kids can choose a book to read independently or with a loved one by flashlight in our special Lights Out Area.
On the first Tuesday of January, February, and March, drop in anytime from 5-7 PM to enjoy our Lights Out Reading Area for ages 6-13. Kids can choose a book to read on their own or together with a loved one. Each child will get a glowstick and a personalized book recommendation. Flashlights provided by the library.

Detroit Lakes Public Library
The Detroit Lakes Public Library is located in downtown Detroit Lakes at the intersection of Washinton Ave. and Frazee Street. The library offers two meeting rooms, four study rooms, a legal kiosk, free Wi-Fi and much more.
