Join us for a series on sustainability with Sandy Gunderson from the Becker County Environmental Services. This month we will be focusing on recycling and reducing toxins within the home.

Get the basics of recycling and learn how simple changes in our everyday routines can reduce our long-term exposures to low levels of potentially harmful substances. Whether you’re looking to lower your exposure to certain potentially toxic ingredients in store-bought products or to save yourself some money, it’s easy to make your own less-toxic cleaners using common household ingredients and some clean, empty containers.  Come and ‘make and take’ some non-toxic cleaners and personal care products for you, your family and friends. 

This is part of our Sustainability 101 series that will feature a different topic on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. through December.
