The library will host an in-person screening of author William Kent Krueger's virtual presentation as part of One Book | One Minnesota. The program will feature the author's book, "Iron Lake."

The Fertile Public Library is hosting an after hours in-person live screening of William Kent Krueger's virtual presentation. We'll have some fresh sweet treats to enjoy that evening. No need to register or fight with technology, just come to the library to enjoy this presentation.

One Book | One Minnesota is a statewide book club that invites Minnesotans of all ages to read a common title and come together virtually to enjoy, reflect and discuss. We hope you’ll join us in reading Iron Lake and participate in a virtual discussion with author William Kent Krueger on August 11, 2022.

Program partners also include Council of Regional Public Library System Administrators; HarperCollins Publishers; Minitex; and the Minnesota Department of Education. This program is made possible in part by the State of Minnesota through a grant to the Minnesota Center for the Book through the Minnesota Department of Education.

About the branch

The Fertile Public Library is tucked inside the Duane Knutson Community Center on Mill Street across the street from the Main Street Station & Deli. The Fertile Library is a large one-room library with access to a small meeting room and auditorium that can be reserved through the city office and 24-hour access to WiFi.
