Join us for a series on sustainability with Sandy Gunderson from the Becker County Environmental Services. This month we will be focusing on creative reuse, with a highlight on the holidays.
In the spirit of reducing waste, one can use items that are normally thrown or recycled to be turned into repurposed/upcycled decorations or presents. It’s a great way to save some money and have some fun! Who’s to say that the holidays have to be expensive? Rather than treating resources as if they are disposable, we will upcycle them and create something wonderful for the holiday season, and beyond. Please feel free to bring items to use and/or share.
This is part of our Sustainability 101 series that will feature a different topic on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. through December.
