Join Fargo-Moorhead artist Bizzy Burslie at the Breckenridge Public Library for a 2-hour hands-on workshop on Kinusaiga, the Japanese art of "quilting without thread." Learn how to press fabric scraps into grooved boards to craft beautifully textured, no-sew designs while giving old textiles new life. This program is offered free of charge thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund and all supplies will be provided. Registration will open Tuesday, August 25 at 3:30 p.m.
Appropriate for ages 12+
Bizzy Burslie is a local Fargo-Moorhead artist, maker, and community organizer. She serves as Co-President of the Fiber Arts Festival and is well-known in the local creative scene for her hand-stitched works, floral and botanical prints, and participation in regional art markets.
