MN Libraries Read Together
Join Us to Celebrate Minnesota Libraries!
Friday, September 18
All day
Show your support for libraries and the vital role they play in our communities. Visit the library to make your own bookmark and join in a silent reading party.
Join the Ada Public Library and libraries across Minnesota for MN Libraries Read Together, a collaborative effort supported by the Minnesota Library Association, CRPLSA, Multicounty Multitype Library Systems, Minitex, MELSA, and ITEM. Participating libraries are hosting events September 18-20 in a statewide show of appreciation for the vital role libraries play in our communities.
Visit the Ada Public Library for the following free events held on September 18th:
Create a Bookmark: Stop by the library anytime between 10:00 AM and 5:30 PM to create your own bookmark! We'll provide all the craft supplies-you bring the creativity!
Silent Reading Party: Join us for a cozy afternoon of reading during our Silent Reading Party which will be held from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
Grab a snack, find a comfortable spot in our designated reading area, silence your phone and settle in for uninterrupted reading time. We’ll wrap up from 5:00–5:30 PM with book recommendations, a chance to share what you’ve been reading, and time to check out library books ahead of the weekend. Bring your current book from home to read or choose something new from the library.
