DIY Paper Lanterns
Independence Day Take & Make Craft

This year America celebrates 250 years of independence! Decorate your home in the spirit of Independence Day with our red, white, and blue paper lanterns.
Kids and teens are invited to swing by the library anytime between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1 to grab a Take & Make Craft Kit. Just pick up your kit, follow the simple instructions, and create something fun, unique, and totally festive right at your kitchen table!
Each kit contains:
- 3 sheets of colored craft paper (red, white and blue)
- 3 strips of colored paper for the handles
- 3 sheets of plain white paper
- 1 sheet of star stickers
- Instructions
Supplies you will need at home:
- Pencil
- Glue
- Scissors
- Crayons, markers or colored pencils
Limit one kit per child. Available while supplies last.
