Come to the Bagley Public Library as we learn about the basics of machine sewing.
Machine sewing is a skill that used to be taught at all our schools. Now, you can learn at your public library!
The Bagley Public Library is offering a class for beginners on machine sewing led by local seamstress and crafts person, Connie Nunemaker. This class will be primarily participant directed. Come with your questions and let us know what you would like to learn - for example, we could explore button holes, putting in a zipper, or maybe how the tension works on your machine. articipants will be making a simple sewing project. Please bring your sewing machine, your questions and your creativity. Space is limited so registration is required. You can register online or call the library at 218-694-6201.
The Bagley Library is located on Spencer Ave SW just one block south of Kubiak's Grocery Store on the right side of the street. The library is housed in the same building as the Bagley Community Room which also has the Bagley Area Arts Collaborative fine arts exhibit available for viewing anytime during open hours.
