Join us at the Climax Community Center where John Vraa will share about the history, technology, and rivalries involved with antique phonographs, as well as a few from his collection.
Local Antique and History Buff, John Vraa, will display and operate a few of his prized sound machines: an Edison Cylinder Phonograph, a Victrola Gramophone, and a Regina Disc Music Box.
Join us at the Climax Community Center where John will speak on the history, technology, and rivalries that these old sound machines arose from. Lively discussions may ensue, and questions answered! This program immediately follows the Climax Community Club's January meeting. Programs are free and open to the public, all are welcome.
