Hear the behind-the-scenes stories of Minnesota’s longest-serving governors, Rudy Perpich, with a historical presentation by author Ben Schierer. Schierer will share about Perpich’s background, including his youth on the Iron Range and his rise to the office of governor.

About the branch

The Mahnomen library is located at 203 S Main St in the same building as the City Hall. The stone building was constructed in 1937 by the WPA and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. The library offers public computers, in-house use laptops, free WiFi, and all the other amenities of a Lake Agassiz Regional Library Branch.
