Celebrate family history month by learning how to utilize the free genealogy tools offered at your library!

Did you know that your Lake Agassiz Regional Library card offers you free access to genealogy databases? Join genealogy expert Rick Crume for a presentation exploring how to navigate these databases, which include Ancestry.com (Library Edition) and FamilySearch. And Stick around after the presentation and get all of your questions answered about getting started and utilizing these tools. 

Attend to learn how to access:

Historical records from countries around the world
Family trees with billions of names and in-depth research guides
Even more historical records on-site at the library than you can view at home
And much more!

This program is offered free-of-charge, thanks in part to funding from the Minnesota Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund. No registration is required.

About the branch

The Fertile Public Library is tucked inside the Duane Knutson Community Center on Mill Street across the street from the Main Street Station & Deli. The Fertile Library is a large one-room library with access to a small meeting room and auditorium that can be reserved through the city office and 24-hour access to WiFi.
